Jacquelyn Bengfort was born in North Dakota and educated at the U.S. Naval Academy and the University of Oxford. She has received fellowships from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and the Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing, and is the author of the chapbooks Navy News Service (Ghost City Press, 2018) and Suitable for All Methods of Communication (Ghost City Press, 2019).
